Spocom 2012 – Anaheim Coverage – Part 2 – Bonus Feature

Before everyone thought our coverage of SpoCom 2012 is done and all, we decided to add a part 2 and put a bonus feature to sum up our conclusion to the first part. The show wouldn’t be complete without coverage of the models who participated at the event where these girls put SpoCom as one of the events to be at the  top of their list to attend to. Even with all the models that we’re familiar to see every show here in SoCal, there’s still new and upcoming ones who are bound to test the waters and Spocom is one of the perfect events to start their career. Since modeling is vastly growing in the automotive scene, we’ve captured not all but a few of all the eye candies left and right at the show. With that being said, here’s the coverage of the girls of SpoCom Anaheim 2012.

We’ll start it off with our good friend Miss Tina Carbaugh posing with Forest Wang’s 2jz swapped Nissan Sylvia under the M7 booth.

Here’s Miss Sheryll Lynn visiting our booth.

Spotted Miss Crystal Leigh working under the Meister booth.

Here we have our lovely friend, Miss Christine Barnum attracting the crowd around the model lounge. It’s been a while since she was at an event. It was good seeing you again Christine!

Another model that we haven’t seen for a while now, Miss Tracy Linh signing autographs at the model lounge.

A hottie that I haven’t seen much on shows recently, Miss Terra Brown also working at the model lounge.

Here we have Miss Kay Bae who’s also posing for the crowd at the model lounge.

Here’s the hottie from Nor Cal, Miss Ashlee Vee striking a pose.

The gorgeous Miss Genevieve Chanelle who’s also from Nor Cal is creating a crowd around the model lounge. She is so fine!

Miss Sara Brinsfield who we rarely see at an event down here in So Cal posing for us with her geeky but sexy look.

Also a hottie that we rarely see at a show, Miss Samantha Padilla giving us a pose and a reason why she took 1st place at the bikini contest that happened later at the event.

Our very own famous DaYUUM Angel, Miss Marissa Hiroko who’s working at the model lounge always pleasing the crowd with her stunning looks. She’s the definition of “classy”.

Here is Miss Beckie Joon also working at the model lounge.

Here is Miss Kat Gutierrez.

The lovely and sexy chick Miss Leianna Kai giving us a sweet pose. Another one of the few classy models out there.

Miss Noelle Lynn was also at the model lounge.

Here’s the lovely Miss Raquel Estrella, the winner of the bikini contest that night. She knows when to be sexy and classy. Definitely a hottie.

Spotted the sexy Miss Ashley Malia working with Drive Energy Drink which is one of the sponsors of the show.

We also ran into Miss Claudia Lopez working with the friends from K.R.O.P.S. booth.

Miss Kristin Barcelona working under the oyal united clothing booth.

The home girl Miss Kadi (left) posing with PVR Motorsport’s own Evo X along with their model whom I forgot the name.

Here we have the sexy side of Miss Raichelle Viado who’s also at the model lounge posing for us. She even made Kuya Abe say “DaYUUM” who’s in the background.

Of course, saving the best for last we wouldn’t forget to capture some snaps of our very own DaYUUM Angels like the last time. Here’s Miss Ashley Clark and Miss Amanda Kerr always classy and seksi whom created a crowd with photographers in front of our booth.

That’s it folks! That would conclude our coverage of Spocom 2012 in Anaheim. Hope you guys enjoy these bonus feature that we covered for you. Thank you again to SpoCom for a great event, we had a blast interacting with our supporters, until next time. Peace and thanks for stopping by. -DaYUUMJae

Extreme AutoFest EAF 2012 – San Diego Qualcomm Stadium

Extreme AutoFest (EAF) has been throwing events for more than 10-years and has always been an event rather than a car show. Unlike, other shows that are specifically catered to low riders or fitment based vehicles, EAF has combined the best of both worlds. In short, if you hardly attend car events, EAF is the one to attend.

The crew at EAF didn’t fall short this year in San Diego as they occupied Qualcomm Stadium and packed the venue with drifting, autocross, low riders, imports, girls, live entertainment and girls.. girls.. oh, girls.

In the past, we’ve had members travel to Hawaii and NorCal for events, but this trip was the furthest we have traveled as a crew. Armed with water, munchies, and our display. Jae, Paul, Mikey, Scott, Jayson, Marissa, Josh, and myself headed to San Diego the afternoon before the event to set up and check into our cozy Best Western.

Thanks to our trusty driver (van_dayuum_paul) and our un-trusty navigation system, we had to use 2 systems. We spent most of Saturday afternoon trying to figure out SD’s freeway system near the stadium and got lost on several several occasions. Did I mention several, several? Some blame me for not providing the proper directions because of my relationship with Instagram and Facebook, but someone had to update our whereabouts and coordinate our group! 😛 After being lost 4000x’s, we finally met up with Ashley and Ronnie back at home base and checked into our rooms.

Through it all, we spent time quality together and ended up at Slater’s 50/50 where we met up with Justin, Michelle, and Eliza. We had some bomb eats with our DaYUUM family. (excuse the blur as our waitress wasn’t steady with her hands, obviously)

We ended Saturday night with a trip to the liquor store and shared ghost stories, played a little truth or dare, and dared Jae (dayuumjae) to streak Interstate 805, ok, we really didn’t tell ghost stories, but what if? Hmm…

On Sunday, Amanda and Nilo joined us and the weather was content. We had a nice breeze but the black top, well… it still tends to heat up. Nevertheless the event was as expected. We met a lot of our site supporters, and our own Marissa Hiroko took 3rd place in her first ever bikini contest. She definitely is an industry’s favorite.

We want to thank the stunning and lovely Ashley Clark and Amanda Kerr for joining us (sorry for the picture quality, somehow we failed on that department for taking pictures of our own family except through our phones :(( ) and we thank the crew at Extreme AutoFest for taking great care of us!

It’s time to pass the torch to Jae and Scott for the photos.

AutoCon LA 2012 – Santa Anita Park – Coverage

Photo credits by: Scott Ishida & Jae Alba

It’s hard to believe that AutoCon LA is already on it’s 3rd showing. Each and every year it seems to get larger and larger.

In 2010, it was held in a parking structure somewhere in the City of Industry, an interesting location with suffocating fumes, but successful.

In 2011, it was at the Great Park of Irvine, it took up much more real-estate than the previous parking structure could hold. The event  began in the afternoon and continued to the evening. The roll-in was the largest challenge, as the staging area was short and there was only one entrance.

When it was time for AutoCon 2012 we didn’t know what to expect. No organizer that I know of had thrown an event at Santa Anita Park before. The area was MUCH larger than previous year’s and there was ample room to stage. The check-in process was simple and quick. Though the staggered roll-in times were a little cumbersome but much improved. It would be nice to have show vehicles roll into one entrance, and the vendors in others. Most of the time, vendors have larger support vehicles to haul displays into the event. In our experience with setting up and running events, vendors typically have a morning slot, then the car participants rolled in after.

In any event, it was much smoother than the previous year. The biggest hinder was the weather, it was scorching! But, AutoCon didn’t fail to bring out enough food trucks, vendors, and the hottest grils in the industry.

Like the previous year, we collaborated with UTI and Tjin Edition. We also added Vortech Superchargers to the mix this year. Together we had a 10×30 tent area and 6 cars. The Tjin Edition Camaro SS, Tjin Edition Civic, Sal’s Vortech charged “Last Ride” GT 5.0, Nilo’s daily C-Class, Neil’s show winning KP, and Ben’s sick TE. Together we monopolized the center section of the event. It was well placed.

As a team we had Jessica Rose, Amanda Kerr, and Ashley Clark in our lovely space.

There were pretty good amount of quality cars that showed up. Here’s what we captured.

I’m sure you’ve seen Michael Mao’s award winning nsx every show if you’re local from so cal.

Bull on parade.

Pretty clean blue SI’s and IS 250.

Some old school JDM.

Euros are also in attendance.

Thought this was pretty cool.

Armand’s famous wide body MR2.

This awesome new FR-S is nicely wrapped we even sit there and stare at it for a moment.

Here’s the rest of the gorgeous models who were present at AutoCon. Starting off with Ms. Alexia Cortez working under the Toyo Tires booth.

The lovely Miss Corissa Furr would put you into a deep spell if you stare at those lovely eyes .

Miss Harmony Vu who happens to be present signing pictures and posing under the model lounge.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe her name is Helen Vu.

Miss Michelle Yee who’s also in attendance spotted under the model lounge.

Miss Nikita Esco trying to cool off while Natalia Marie goofing off in the background.

More of Miss Natalia Marie.
