Wekfest X 2018 - San Jose
Words: DennyPhotos:DennyWhat were you doing 10 years ago? Still in high school? Just graduated college? Or buying your first house. 10 Years ago marked the beginning of Wekfest. I believe , 2 years prior it was called Weksos Industries Meet. Regardless, after 10 years, people still can not pronounce it. Wek, derived from Weak, pronounced wēk, just to set the record straight. Anyways...10 years, OMG, the venue was packed, beyond belief. Walking room was almost non-existent, rubbing shoulders, asses, and bodies. Capturing photos was pretty painful. Nevertheless, I was able to capture a few shots.Right as you enter you see a beautifully executed RHD EF hatch by Jose on Function and Form suspension and Volk TE rollers. A K-series filled the bay and tucked with Rywire.
Close in proximity was the GReddy’s booth with Ryan’s Mugen S2k.
Illuminate was in the house with a packed crowd gawking over the YouTube buzz we live in today. I must admit, some of their video sare entertaining and Randy has some sort of camera presence with his bromance self. Congrat’s on the sick new house though. Kevin’s close shaven S2k had my heart, but Randy’s R32 is always a favorable choice, hand’s down, Skyline over all things.

I first saw Phil's 510 and SEMA and since then I have seen it a handful of time and is the sickest 510 in my opinion. Great story behind it and awesome build. From a complete rust bucket to a 13B powered monster on Airlift Performance suspension and BBS’s <3.
