Silhouette of a Sunny, Soul of a Hakosuka

History. Pride. Preservation and Vintage Motorsports are 3 things that make up a company called Chasing J’s.Owned and operated by Dominic Le, Chasing J’s is a company specializing in restomods and classics. SEMA 2015, provided me with a prime example of how Dominic’s passion for Vintage Motorsports evolved over his company and himself. He created something very special that caught my eye at SEMA. Enjoy!

  • Owner: Dominic Le
  • Truck: 1974 Datsun Sunny UTE

Dominic has me drooling all over his ‘Hakotora’Picture 1 EditPicture 5 EditPicture 7 EditPicture 9 EditThe soul of the car comes here beneath the hood...a built S14 SR20det shown teasing everyone who wants to take a sneak...Picture 8 EditRiveted flares compliment the wrapped in Toyo R888, 15x9 and 15x10 Volk TE37V's...Ohh...did I mention its on AIR? Thanks to Airlift Air Suspension made it possible for this Hakotora rest perfectly on the carpet...simply amazing...Picture 10 EditOne of my favorite parts of the car is in the back, a carbon fiber bed liner that was trimmed to fit perfectly to compliment simplicity with its brushed aluminum trimming...Picture 6 EditClearly you can tell that 09 Racing did a fantastic job with this front end Hakosuka (C10 Skyline)...you can't even tell its a Sunny!Picture 11 EditIf you ever get the chance to see this vehicle in person with your very eyes, you will see the real craftsmanship that went into this build. The amount of detail is stunning. I am absolutely in love with this...Awesome job guys! This concludes my pick for this year SEMA 2015! Hope you enjoyed the ride...because I did!Till next time…Peace!-ScottieInstagram: dayuumscottieDaYUUM.com
