Spocom San Jose - 2015
It was one of those days where California had 2 shows going on a weekend and I had to choose between Auto enthusiast presented by Nitto in Anaheim, and Spocom Show in San Jose. I thought, since we're having the Tjin Edition x DaYUUM RoadShow down in Anaheim, why not drive up north and have a little road trip to cover Spocom up in the bay. So Friday night, I rode with Mikey (@photo_md) along with some of the R-Rydes crew, Danh (@dvo414), and Alf (@bluewaffleg35) to cruise up north but had to re-route and take freeway 101 since we got an update from Tricia that there was a brush fire going on at Highway 152, the usual way to San Jose from SoCal. We got there around early a.m. safe and sound and met up with the rest of the R-Rydes crew to roll in at the show. It was a pretty chill show, nothing big compare to the Spocom Anaheim that happened a few weeks ago. It's more of a good vibes, and seeing some of the NorCal friends that I've never seen for a while. It was definitely a good time chillin and chatting up with the bay area peeps. With that being said, here's a few of the cool rides and beautiful women of Spocom San Jose.Jovi's Lancer Evo, one of the few cars that gets to show inside Club Auto sports showroom. Alf's award winning G35 that also took home best of show that day. Congrats Alf! There was also a few cool old schools and one of them is this Datsun 510. Such a beautiful build. Another old school build that caught my attention, Datsun 240z. This Lexus VIP on Air runner. One of the cleanest engine bay I've seen at this show.Old school Corolla under the Toyo tires booth. Prestige Marketing's wide body M3 who also won best euro at the show. Congrats! One of the few rx7's at the show. Clean. Another clean rotary machine. Now the ladies of Spocom San Jose. Starting with Sydney Maler under the Toyo tires booth. Charlene Lo who also made the trek from SoCal. Sara Choi whom I never thought would be present at the show as she recently moved to L.A. showing with Prestige marketing under Mad Max booth. Along with Elisa Tee who is also joining the Mad Max booth.Such a dynamic duo. Saw Mimi Le at the model lounge. Jessica Wong whom I also spotted at the model lounge. Xena Kai whom I've never seen for a while now was also working the booth of Prestige marketing. Beckie Joon also made the trip from Socal and owned the gogo stage. Jenna Lane working the Continental Tire booth. Along with Arley Elizabeth also with Continental Tire booth. A NorCal hottie who I've never seen at any shows recently. Nice meeting you Cyn Michelle. Rosie Ly from Australia was also at the show along with her adorable son, Ethanuel. Ruby Renegade surprised everyone as she made the show. That concludes the recap of Spocom San Jose. Before I end this coverage, I would like to give a shout out to Mikey for letting me roll with and Michael Klonoff for letting us stay at their house for this trip and to team R-rydes especially to Danh and Alf for making the trip up in Norcal possible and made me be a part of their team for a day. lol It was nice meeting and chillin with the rest of the crew also and to the Spocom crew, thank you for the hospitality. Till next time! Thanks for reading! -Jae
