There’s more to California than bikinis and beaches, but meeting the woman of their dreams is what every man dreams of. Born and raised in Southern California, Cami is the “girl next door” who is down to earth, likes to stay active and participates in outdoor activities. She also has the drive and dedication to live the fitness lifestyle, and loves being in the studio as a dance competitor. She started gracing the camera at a young age, and was very natural as she worked the camera like a seasoned veteran in modeling.
Also, did we mention Cami likes football? Cami is a huge USC football fan who holds season tickets and would never misses a game. Now, tell me a reason not to hang out with this gorgeous and awesome chick?! Let’s check out the little interview we did with Miss Cami Porter.
DaYUUM: Tell us a little about yourself.
Cami: I grew up here in orange county with my family, I have 2 older brothers and an older sister. I grew up catholic but am a christian myself. I’m very active and I love doing anything that challenges my athletic side. I love messing around and joking with people so hanging out around me isn’t really for the faint of heart, but I’m also very affectionate and I love to love on people! I’m all about giving hugs and compliments, I really do believe in passing it on.
DaYUUM: How long have you been modeling and how did you start?
Cami: I have been modeling since I was 16, but it all started with a pocket sized photo of me in 8th grade that was taken when my family and I had gone into a studio for family portraits. I gave a couple to my friends and then bunch of other students in school started asking me for the pocket sized photos, I think that’s when I really started wondering if i could make something out of it.
DaYUUM: What do you enjoy most about modeling?
Cami: I really enjoy the entire process and bringing together so many different talented people for one sole purpose and then getting to see the final product and be proud of it.
DaYUUM: What is your favorite part of your body?
Cami: I think it would have to be a tie between my back dimples and my booty. Because I didn’t get either of them genetically, I work hard to keep them so they are physical features I can really be proud of.
DaYUUM: What is one feature you wish you have?
Cami: Another dimple! I only have a dimple on one side when I smile and it’s driven me crazy for years.
DaYUUM: Do you have any tattoos? If so, what would you get if you’re planning to get more?
Cami: Yes, I have a large bible verse on my left shoulder blade. I plan on getting another verse on my rib cage soon, along with a tattoo for my dad although I’m not entirely sure what I want yet.
DaYUUM: 3 words that best describes you and why?
Cami: Competitive, because I love to compete in everything; which can also be a downfall of mine but also helps me to succeed in many different areas as well. Compassionate, because I love to care for other people. Making someone else feel better or caring for someone else makes me happy and keeps me grounded and grateful. Devoted, because when I have my mind set on something I don’t stray, I don’t stop, and I don’t quit; in my relationships, in my career goals, in my fitness goals, etc.
DaYUUM: Do you have any quotes that you live by?
Cami: I have a few actually, currently the one that speaks to me the most is “She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” which is the verse I plan on getting tattooed on my ribs. I like this verse for a few different reasons but one is that I think its just a great reminder for me because I can be such a worrisome person, just to know my future is in my gods hands and things will happen how they are supposed to.
DaYUUM: Any hidden talents you would like to share with us?
Cami: I love to sing, but I have always been horribly stage freight. My friends and family have gotten me and asked me to sing for them and they always seem to love it, and I sang in a competition choir in highschool; I just feel like my singing is my own guilty pleasure I get to enjoy as an outlet when I am by myself.
DaYUUM: What are your bad habits?
Cami: I wake up hungry and wanting everything bad at around 3am almost every morning, and if what I am craving is somehow attainable I WILL eat it!
DaYUUM: Turn ons and turn offs?
Cami: Turns ons would definitely have to be a guy who can make me laugh, someone who isn’t afraid to be goofy, someone who is into fitness like I am, someone with strong career goals, and a killer smile. Turn offs would be smoking, someone who is rude, someone who can’t stick up for themselves or their partner, poor work ethic, someone who doesn’t like animals, someone who hates any kind of PDA.
DaYUUM: What’s the quickest way to your heart?
Cami: Making me laugh!!!
DaYUUM: When it comes to men, what type attracts you the most?
Cami: Physically I like men who are taller then me, have a nice smile, and are muscular and thicker build. Personality wise I’m attracted to men who are hard working, confident, compassionate, goal driven, and affectionate.
DaYUUM: What’s the worst thing a guy has done on a date or to get your attention?
Cami: The worst thing? Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’d have to say the worst thing a guy has done on a date with me would have to be my date actually being rude and arguing with our server, it was mortifying and I never talked to him again after that incident.
DaYUUM: Who is your celebrity crush?
Cami: My female Celebrity crush is definitely Zooey Deschanel, she is adorable and she is such a geek but in a sexy kind of way. My male celebrity crush would have to be Gerard Butler (I love manly men with a soft side.)
DaYUUM: What is your dream car?
Cami: 74 Nova Hatchback SS
DaYUUM: What are your hobbies?
Cami: I really love working out; weight lifting and plyometric training are my favorite! Other then that I love watching sports and racing, doing makeup, hiking, surfing, dirt biking, getting hooked on new tv shows, reading and writing, singing, dancing, and pretty much going adventuring anywhere on the coast.
DaYUUM: What type of songs are on your playlist?
Cami: I listen to pretty much everything except classical opera, just depends on what mood I’m in. My ipod says my 3 top most played recently are, Don’t You by Sage the Gemini, Drunk in love by Beyonce, and Tonight by John Legend.
DaYUUM: What are the things you would never leave without?
Cami: My purse (containing my ipod, keys, wallet, phone, makeup, weight-lifting gloves, and charger), a cute change of clothes, and my protein shake mix. That’s not cheating right?
DaYUUM: Think of something your parents don’t know about you?
Cami: Well if i told you then they would know wouldn’t they?!
DaYUUM: If you were a super hero, who would you be and why?
Cami: Superwoman hands down; she is beautiful, strong, sexy, and has a great attitude.
DaYUUM: Aside from modeling, what are your goals in life?
Cami: I plan on double majoring in pediatric nursing and medical interpreting.
DaYUUM: Shout outs and last words.
Cami: Shout out to my man who is serving overseas right now in Afghanistan, can’t wait for you to get home! As well as all my friends and my family who have been amazing support for me and continue to support me, love you guys tons! Oh and can’t forget the DaYUUM team for featuring me! I really can’t wait to do another shoot and other events with you guys, it was a blast and you’re all awesome to work with!
We want to thank Cami for giving us the time and opportunity to get her featured. She will be one of our few DaYUUM Hunnies who will be joining us this year at upcoming shows, events and more shoots! We are stoked to have her as part of the DaYUUM family! Thank you Brian from Infinite Auto Design for the sick R500! Till next time!
Happy reading guys! Peace.
