SEMA Show 2013 – Scottie’s Pick

Every year just before the holidays, SEMA brings together and unites the aftermarket auto industry into a one week long event held in Las Vegas. I was blessed to have the opportunity this year to attend the biggest modified car show in the United States. SEMA’s awe inspiring venue consists of over 7000+ automobile companies, which are divided into 4 sub halls in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The North Hall provided visitors the advantage of upcoming tools, collision and repair, and latest mobile electronics. Central Hall delivered, racing and performance, hot rod alley, and restoration market place. Providing the audience with the leading tire and rim companies was the South Hall (Lower). For the off-road enthusiast the South Hall (Upper Level) is the place to be giving attendees a firsthand look at the Rugged Lifestyle. After walking all the halls of the convention center, I finally found what I call the coolest ride of SEMA and no it wasn’t a classic Japanese car.

Let me introduce you to the Hayashi Telempu booth, located at the North Hall. Featuring technology at its finest. Hayashi Telempu has remained at the forefront of automobile technology through constant evolution throughout the years. They specialize for safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly automotive products unique to the customers’ tastes.

I decided to go outside the box and feature this Toyota Vellfire. This unique van from Japan is no ordinary soccer mom minivan it is something of pure luxury.

The interior of the Vellfire is unlike any other minivan. When you open the doors and step into an inviting interior that cocoons you from the outside world. The themed interior embraces you in a unique high-quality ambience. This surrounds you in your personal imperial palace of luxury and comfort.

Every detail has been carefully designed; from the finest grade natural grain leather to the LED trimmings.

This custom removable headliner hides the gigantic twin moon roofs as if they never existed. The carefully positioned mood lighting sets the tone for exquisite comfort.

With an advanced entertainment, navigation and communication all working together to embrace both elegance and simplicity.

This unique LED safety feature blinks backwards preventing unintentional crashes when getting in or out of the car both at night and during the day.

The polished stainless steel plates on both driver and passenger side floor emits a white LED glow, spelling out the Vellfire name.

This concludes my topic for SEMA 2013. Big thanks to Hayashi Telempu for allowing me full access of their awesome Toyota Vellfire. Without their help we would not have been able to see the unbelievable interior this Vellfire had to offer. I hope you enjoyed this imperial palace on wheels.

Till next year! Peace!
