Torque Meet Tour - Orlando
This year we are pretty excited to join the Torque Meet Tour presented by Universal Technical Institute (UTI). The Torque Meet Tour is a 5-city FREE AUTOMOTIVE EVENT SERIES, that's right, free admission, free entry, free vendor space, and free to spectate. The tour travels to 5 different UTI campus from east to west.
The first meet was in Orlando and it went off with a bang. The event was hosted by Jade Motorsports, an automotive club based in Florida. The turn out was spectacular, over 400 cars, over 40 vendors, and over 3000 spectators.
The Tjin Edition Roadshow rig was in attendance showing off their Toyota Tacoma which was a collaboration between them and UTI. The Tacoma will be given away at the end of the year to a lucky entrant.
In their booth was a slew of goodies such as the Vortech and Paxton Superchargers.As a partner of the Torque Tour Meet, we sponsored an award called the "Choice Award." The requirements to win the award is simple, “The DAYUUM Choice Award is judged on the overall build. The build must show consistency and harmony with the parts being used. Clean paint, cleanliness of the vehicle, and fit ‘n finish will play a large role in this award.” That's it.. Pretty simple.
At Orlando, Jose Guadalupe of Team Solo took the "Choice Award" with his Acura RSX that featured a K24 swap.
Vishal Mathur's S13 with a Silvia conversion features an LS swap that was boost assisted by our friends at Vortech Superchargers which also took home their “Hottest Supercharged Setup” award, an award that was presented by Vortech Superchargers and Paxton Superchargers. Vishal's LSX-Swapped S13 has dyno'ed at 698RWHP @ 11psi. On the left is Mark Harston from UTI.
