Each and every year it seems to get larger and larger. In 2010, it was held in a parking structure somewhere in the City of Industry, an interesting location with suffocating fumes, but successful. In 2011, it was at the Great Park of Irvine, it took up much more real-estate than the previous parking structure could hold. The event  began in the afternoon and continued to the evening. The roll-in was the largest challenge, as the staging area was short and there was only one entrance. When it was time for AutoCon 2012 we didn't know what to expect. No organizer that I know of had thrown an event at Santa Anita Park before. The area was MUCH larger than previous year's and there was ample room to stage. The check-in process was simple and quick. Though the staggered roll-in times were a little cumbersome but much improved. It would be nice to have show vehicles roll into one entrance, and the vendors in others. Most of the time, vendors have larger support vehicles to haul displays into the event. In our experience with setting up and running events, vendors typically have a morning slot, then the car participants rolled in after. In any event, it was much smoother than the previous year. The biggest hinder was the weather, it was scorching! But, AutoCon didn't fail to bring out enough food trucks, vendors, and the hottest grils in the industry.Like the previous year, we collaborated with UTI and Tjin Edition. We also added Vortech Superchargers to the mix this year. Together we had a 10x30 tent area and 6 cars. The Tjin Edition Camaro SS, Tjin Edition Civic, Sal's Vortech charged "Last Ride" GT 5.0, Nilo's daily C-Class, Neil's show winning KP, and Ben's sick TE. Together we monopolized the center section of the event. It was well placed. As a team we had Jessica Rose, Amanda Kerr, and Ashley Clark in our lovely space. There were pretty good amount of quality cars that showed up. Here's what we captured.I'm sure you've seen Michael Mao's award winning nsx every show if you're local from so cal. Bull on parade. Pretty clean blue SI's and IS 250. Some old school JDM. Euros are also in attendance. Thought this was pretty cool. Armand's famous wide body MR2. This awesome new FR-S is nicely wrapped we even sit there and stare at it for a moment. Here's the rest of the gorgeous models who were present at AutoCon.
