WEKFEST IV San Francisco 2012

WEKFEST IV San Francisco 2012

IMG_2413.jpg

It's been ten years since the last time I was in Nor Cal.  I lived in San Jose for five months so when I heard about WEKFEST, I was contemplating at first but decided to go since it's been a decade since the last time I was there. WEKFEST is one of the elite shows in California. There's always quality when it comes to cars and a massive amount of people. I have yet to experience it since this is my first time attending this event, so with that being said, I will let the photos explain what the Bay Area scene is all about. Here is one of our friend's Civic from Tjin Edition. This Civic SI sits on Rotiform wheels. He drove all the way from So Cal to represent for WekFest. We pretty much sat inside the car when we got tired, just to sit because we didn't have a booth. Thanks Gene for letting us in! A clean M3 on nice white Volks A nice Porsche Panamera This nice NSX looks familiar One of the few exotics that was at the show A clean Lexus IS-F This Evo made me stare at it for a good minute. Mmmm Silvia.. I believe this is our friend Leon Casino's ride. Nicely done! A nice Integra with a clean engine bay  This picture is so funny. Didn't realize it till I started editing. Do you guys know what I'm talking about? WekFest was not just about imports but old school domestics as well. Clean FD  Some wagon love Another one of our friends from So Cal "Rare JDM's" own 350z representing for WekFest Also from "Rare JDM" "Team Vitz" Peter Tadros ride. Nice to see some friends reppin all the way from So Cal. Another Integra with a clean engine bay It's amazing to see a Supra not only with a unique body kit, but also a highway patrol resemblance. Wild would be another word for it. I wouldn't even take my chance running off of this machine if it pulled me over cause there is no chance at all. Here's another view from the back Some slammed euros You can't call it a show if there were no Skyline GTR representing Another friend of ours from So Cal, Rodney Esteban's slammed Prius under the Air Runner booth. Definitely a neck breaker. This thing is bagged!    This Honda Insight is nice. Done right. This Miata got my attention. With a custom front end conversion, it definitely is a show stopper. Lotus flower bomb  VIP status Another clean engine bay Another friend from So Cal, Big Mike's famous 'lude Another neat engine bay Keith "Keychain" from "it's JDM yo" and "Royal Origin" with his accord who also drove all the way from So Cal  An old school mini "very nice" It's rare to see a van representing in a show here in California that's fixed up as JDM style. Nicely done. Another show stopper that fascinated me. The wrap on this Audi TT was nicely done. Its so clean I even look for little parts that they might have missed but i didn't find any. Done right. Here's a view from the back A hatch with another clean engine bay And another one Candy  Clean Evo Another nice Lotus  Some S2k love    Some luxury and exotics. I heard this guy drove all the way from So Cal's Cars and Coffee Saturday morning and arrived at San Francisco late in the afternoon to catch up for WekFest. Pretty crazy and I wonder how many gas stops did he made for the trip. By the way, this is how packed it was at the show. there's no room for taking pictures of most of the cars because people are around it so it was really hard to take them. We were lucky enough that we arrived a little bit early before it was open for public so we could at least snap some good shots. To be honest, there were more quality cars that I didn't get a chance to cover because of the massive amount of people but i tried my best to cover the most that I can. Here is a dope video from our friend's at PVR Motorsports!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYWQudMkJ84& Oh and before I forget, it wouldn't be a DaYUUM coverage without the ladies so here's what most of you have been waiting for. Miss Trinity Dang (no affiliation with Mikey Dang from PVR.). A hottie from the Bay Area. Michelle Yee, also from So Cal signing autographs and posing for her fans at the Iclique lounge  Here's Miss Mars Maylani posing at the iClique lounge NOS girls Miss Julie Mai all the way from San Diego representing at Auto Fashion booth Miss Ashley Vee another hottie from the Bay getting everyone's attention at the iClique lounge Miss Stacie Li who's also from So Cal was there at the iClique loungeHere's Miss Alexis Kobayashi from the Bay Area posing under Speed Element booth Another famous one, Miss Christine Mendoza Here's a model that made me drop my jaw. Here's Miss Trisha Lynn posing with Vex MotorsportsI can just look at her all day Here's the gorgeous Miss Genevieve Chanelle. One of the sweetest models you would ever meet. I hope we can do a feature of her one day. If she moves to So Cal, we'll be the first in line. She makes me say "oh my god"Definition of beautiful Here's miss Xena Kai sporting a sticker with our friends from "It's JDM yo" Another famous model Miss Justene Jaro showing us her new bling G-shocks The lovely Miss Corissa FurrShe's keeping it classy One of our friends representing Low'N Slow crew, who's also from So Cal, Miss Kristin Nicole Barcelona All in all, it was a great and huge turnout. Some people would complain about the massive amount of people and some says it should be in a bigger venue but who would complain about attending one of the famous events in the West? You'll always expect it to be big no matter what. I would do it again next time but with more preparation since now I know what to expect. Before I end this coverage, I would like to give thanks first to the people behind WekFest, for giving us a chance to cover their awesome event. You guys do it big! Thanks for making it possible. Next I would like to say thank you to the Nor Cal CarsxHype crew for welcoming us and the hospitality that they have given from their WekFest pre-meet the night before, it was nice chillin with you guys. Till next time. And to our partners PVR Motorsports, this trip wouldn't be possible without the collaboration. And last, I'm giving a shout out to all the friends that we met at the show. It was nice to see all of you, knowing that most of you are from So Cal and made the trip up north. Until next time. I will leave you guys with a photo that would remind me of WekFest, crazy = but fun
